Sally Vern Toney Davis This is my Granny Sally. She was born 15 May 1895 in Canadian District, Indian Territory, McIntosh County, Oklahoma. She led a very full life and had a knack for telling Indian legends and stories. Everyone smiled when they were around her. She passed away on 8 Sep 1988 in the home of her oldest daughter, Florence Toney Cochran, in Texanna, McIntosh County, Oklahoma. She was very missed.	Jesse James Davis This is my Grandpa Jess. He was so wonderful to be around. He was born 17 Nov 1919 in Texanna, McIntosh, Oklahoma to Reverend Thompson J. Davis and Sally Vern Toney Davis. He was a loving father and a genuinely kind human being. He died 6 Nov 1992 in Eufaula, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Jewel Laverne Tankersley Davis Grandma Jewel was born 22 Feb 1918 in Muskogee County, Oklahoma. She was the mother of 6 children and the wife of Jess Davis. She passed away on 25 Jan 1954 in Checotah, McIntosh, Oklahoma of a heart ailment. There has always been a sense of emptiness in the hearts of those who knew her, since she has been gone. We will see her again when our time on earth is done.	Cicero Davis Toney Cicero was the son of Levi Toney and Susie Fields. He was also the big brother of my Granny Sally (Sally Vern Toney Davis). 1886-1923
Levi Toney Levi was born 10 Sep 1861 in Colgate, Oklahoma and died 4 Dec 1918 in Texanna, McIntosh, Oklahoma. He was the husband of Susan Fields Toney and the father of 5 children.
Susan Fields (Foster) Toney Susie was the daughter of Chief Seven Fields (AKA William Foster) and Rebecca Bowles. Susie was also the grand daughter of Sequoyah Guess and also of Chief John Bowles. Her mother came from Houston, Texas when the Cherokee Indians were forced out of Texas.
