In Loving Memory of John Reese Cooper III

John Reese Cooper III- Son, Grandson, Nephew, Husband, Father

John Reese Cooper III was born on March 17, 1981 and passed away tragically on September 6, 1995. He left behind his parents, John and Trudy, a sister, Victoria, a brother, Joshua, a wife, Melody, and a daughter, Kaci-Marie. He also left behind many, many other friends and family that all had nothing but wonderful things to say about this intelligent, imaginative, amazing young man. He brought laughter into the worlds of everyone around him, and was always there to help anyone at any time he was needed. His sudden passing left us all confused and in shock, which will most likely never totally go away.

John John

John Reese was always so smart. The Easter Sunday after he was born, there was a tornado that totally blew the trailer away that he and his parents were living in. They barely made it out alive, but had no where to live, so they moved in with us. I loved having him around. He was so sweet and had such a kind, loving, heart. His favorite song was one that I learned in Music class at school, called "Oh Senior Don Gato". He wouldn't let anyone else sing it. He would put his tiny hand over their mouths and tell that "NO... that's Sheri's song!" LOL...

A Poem from Grandma

IT SEEMS THE ONE YOU LOVED THE MOST HAS DISAPPEARED FROM VIEW,

BUT BEYOND THE TURNING IN LIFES ROAD YOUR LOVED ONE WAITS FOR YOU

A Grandmother's Letter to her Grandson

My Sweet John John, your season on this earth is past; your mortal endeavors are over and done. Sadness appears on earth for us who loved and cherished you; but the season for rejoicing and singing has come for you.

As I spend time on this earth I have found that God's hand leads us through the winds of change. God does not work on our time table, but God's timing is always perfect, for what he has awaiting you.

Son, I found a Bible verse in Isaiah 55:12 that describes the way I saw you go forth to our Heavenly Father;

"For ya shall go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills shall break forth before you go into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."

Oh, my little John John I am so sad, your sweet smile is out of my view, and I will miss you so, but I will miss you always!

Sometime the Lord with stop the earthly train that our family is riding, taking a family member off and putting them on an airplane, He needs them home sooner than the rest of us, but when we arrive at our destination, there you will be with that sweet smile with arms reaching out for me.

Till we meet again, I will cherish my memories of you.

Your Grandmother, Grandma Ray
